Unistar Ink Social Giveaway: Official Rules


NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND D.C. (EXCLUDING RHODE ISLAND) WHO ARE 18 OR OLDER. 

1. Sponsor and Partner 

Sponsor: Painful Pleasures LLC, 7410 Coca Cola Drive, Suite 108, Hanover, MD 21076 (“Sponsor”). Sponsor is solely responsible for administering the Giveaway. 

Partner: Kwadron, maker of Unistar Ink (“Partner”). Partner is supplying the prizes described in Section 9. Partner is not a sponsor or administrator of the Giveaway. 

2. Promotion Periods 

The Giveaway consists of two separate drawings, each with its own entry period (each, a “Drawing Period”):

Entries submitted during one Drawing Period do not carry over to the other Drawing Period. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway. 

3. Eligibility 

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, excluding Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories and possessions, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Social entrants must maintain a valid, public Instagram account in good standing throughout the applicable Drawing Period so that entries can be verified. 

Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, Partner, Body Art Alliance, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies, together with the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of any such individual, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. 

4. How to Enter 

During the applicable Drawing Period, enter by ONE of the following methods: 

  1. Follow-and-Tag Entry: Follow both the applicable Sponsor Instagram account (the PP Account for Drawing Period 1 or the UTS Account for Drawing Period 2) and the Kwadron Instagram account, then post a comment on the official Giveaway post tagging two (2) friends and including the hashtag #UnistarSweepstakes. 

  1. Photo Entry: Post a comment on the official Giveaway post on the applicable Sponsor account that includes a photo of a tattoo you personally created, tags two (2) friends, and includes #UnistarSweepstakes. Available only where the platform supports photo comments. 

  1. Free Mail-In Entry: Hand-print your name, mailing address, email, phone number, date of birth, Instagram handle (optional), and the Drawing Period you are entering on a 3” x 5” card. Mail in a stamped envelope to: Unistar Ink Social Giveaway, Painful Pleasures LLC, 7410 Coca Cola Drive, Suite 108, Hanover, MD 21076. Drawing Period 1 entries must be postmarked between October 12 and October 16, 2026, and received by October 21, 2026. Drawing Period 2 entries must be postmarked between October 19 and October 23, 2026, and received by October 28, 2026. One entry per envelope. Mechanical reproductions, bulk submissions, and incomplete, illegible, postage-due, late, lost, misdirected, or undeliverable entries are void. 

Mail-in entries carry the same odds of winning as social entries. Tagged friends must be real individuals; tagging fake, duplicate, brand, or bot accounts is prohibited. Tagged friends are not entered unless they separately submit their own entry. Following, liking, or commenting is not required to win if entering by mail. 

5. Entry Limit 

Limit one (1) entry per person per Drawing Period, regardless of method of entry, for a maximum of two (2) entries for the entire Giveaway (one per Drawing Period). Additional entries by the same person in the same Drawing Period, including entries submitted through multiple Instagram accounts, will be disregarded. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person who uses multiple accounts, automated means, or other methods to exceed this limit. Each person may win only one (1) prize in the entire Giveaway. 

6. Photo Entry Content Requirements and License 

Photos submitted as Photo Entries must: (i) depict a tattoo the entrant personally created; (ii) be the entrant’s original work; (iii) not infringe any third party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights; (iv) not contain nudity, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content; and (v) comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. Entrant represents that they have obtained permission from the person who bears the tattoo to post the photo. Sponsor may disqualify any entry it deems noncompliant in its sole discretion. 

Entrant retains ownership of the photo but grants Sponsor and Partner a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and share the photo in connection with the Giveaway and on their social media channels, with credit to the entrant’s Instagram handle where practicable, for twelve (12) months after the applicable Drawing Period, except where prohibited by law. 

7. Winner Selection and Odds 

On or about October 22, 2026, Sponsor will select five (5) potential winners for Drawing Period 1 in a random drawing from all eligible Drawing Period 1 entries received. On or about October 29, 2026, Sponsor will select five (5) potential winners for Drawing Period 2 in a random drawing from all eligible Drawing Period 2 entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable Drawing Period. All decisions of Sponsor regarding the selection of winners are final and binding. 

8. Winner Notification and Verification 

Social entrants will be notified by direct message from the official PP Account or UTS Account, as applicable. Mail-in entrants will be notified by email or phone. Sponsor will never ask winners for payment, credit card information, banking details, or account passwords; entrants should disregard messages from impersonator accounts. Potential winners must respond with a valid U.S. shipping address within five (5) days of notification. Potential winners may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where permitted by law, a publicity release within the time stated in the notification. If a potential winner does not timely respond, cannot be verified, is ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected by random drawing from remaining eligible entries for that Drawing Period, time permitting. 

9. Prizes 

Ten (10) prizes will be awarded in total: five (5) for Drawing Period 1 and five (5) for Drawing Period 2. Each prize consists of one (1) Unistar Top Basic Set (approximate retail value (“ARV”): $109 USD). Total ARV of all prizes: $1,090 USD. Prizes will be shipped to a U.S. address (excluding Rhode Island) at no cost to the winner within approximately six (6) weeks after verification. Prizes are non-transferable; no cash or other substitution is permitted, except Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are provided “as is” with no warranty from Sponsor beyond any manufacturer warranty. The prize consists of professional tattoo products; the winner is solely responsible for using the prize safely and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including licensing, health, and safety requirements. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor is not responsible for prizes lost or damaged in shipping after delivery to the carrier, or for undeliverable prizes resulting from an incorrect address provided by the winner. 

10. Instagram Release and Privacy 

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, each entrant fully releases Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability in connection with the Giveaway. Questions or comments about the Giveaway must be directed to Sponsor, not Instagram. 

Information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at painfulpleasures.com, to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, notify winners, fulfill prizes, and prevent fraud. Sponsor will send marketing communications only where the entrant has separately consented. No marketing consent is required to enter or win. Sponsor may share winner names and shipping information with Partner solely as needed for prize fulfillment. 

11. Publicity, General Conditions, and Release of Liability 

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and Partner to use the winner’s name, Instagram handle, city and state of residence, and photo entry (if applicable) for promotional purposes related to the Giveaway without further compensation. 

All promotional materials are subject to these Official Rules; in any conflict, these Official Rules govern. Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or fraudulent manner. If the Giveaway cannot run as planned due to fraud, technical failure, platform changes, or any cause beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor may cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway and award prizes by random drawing from eligible entries received before cancellation. 

By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Partner, Body Art Alliance, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, successors, and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from any liability, claims, damages, losses, or causes of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the receipt, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical failures, unauthorized intervention, human error, lost, late, incomplete, invalid, misdirected, or undeliverable entries or communications, Instagram outages or comment filtering, deleted or hidden comments, or any other circumstance that may affect participation. 

12. Governing Law and Disputes 

These Official Rules and the Giveaway are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to the Giveaway must be resolved individually, without resort to any class or representative action, exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland. By entering, each entrant consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. 

13. Winners List and Rules Request; Sponsor Contact 

For a copy of these Official Rules or, after winners are verified, a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope with a written request, postmarked no later than December 31, 2026, to the Sponsor Contact address below. Indicate “Unistar Ink Social Giveaway: Winners List” or “Unistar Ink Social Giveaway: Rules Request” on the outer envelope. Vermont residents may omit return postage.
