Elvis was a beloved singer, actor, and icon. His signature voice is still often played on the radio. His successful career, swift dance moves, and humble personality earned him the title of the King of Rock N Roll. Elvis helped cure polio - well, kind of... Jonas Salk invented the cure for polio, but doctors struggled to get teenagers to take the vaccine. Enter Elvis - he posed for the press and got a polio vaccine from doctors and after those incidents of the disease went down 90%.
