Hertz Power Readout: What You Need to Know
The Solice Ergo uses Hertz (Hz) instead of voltage for power readout. Hertz gives a more accurate measure of needle movement per second. Voltage can vary between machines due to motor differences and friction—8.0v on one machine could be 150Hz, while another might only reach 120Hz. Hertz provides a clearer, more consistent performance readout.
If you’re new to Hertz, here’s a quick guide:
Fine Lines/Details: 50–80Hz
Shading: 80–100Hz
Color Packing: 100–150Hz
