Remembering Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant was a professional basketball player, coach, uncle, father, and founder of the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Foundation, which is a charitable organization that helps homeless kids and teens in the L.A area. The Philadelphia native was the youngest of three kids and first joined the NBA at the age of 17 directly after graduating high school. During his 20 season career with the Lakers he won five NBA championships,15 All-Star Game appearances, four All-Star Game MVP Awards, two NBA Finals MVP Awards, and worked to inspire children on and off the court. He was more than a great player, he was a good person.

Kobe Bryant tragically passed away Sunday, January 26th along with his daughter, Gianna, who was only 13 years old at the time but already following in her father’s footsteps with a promising basketball career. We want to remember him with this blog that has a few quotes from him and some awesome tattoos.

“There's a choice that we have to make as people, as individuals. If you want to be great at something there is a choice you have to make. We can all be masters at our craft, but you have to make a choice.” Tattoo by: Oleg Shepelenko
